Role overview:

The Acquisition & Retention Manager plays a critical role in Marketing / Segments & Connectivity Director, accelerating business growth by crafting compelling offers to acquire new customers and deploying strategies that deepen engagement with the existing user base to increase base stickiness and reduce churn.

Responsibilities

· Develop and execute localized customer acquisition and retention strategies tailored to the Iraqi telecom market.

· Develop and execute first-time user offers to drive sign-ups and initial conversions

· Test different offer formats (discounts, bundles, trials, cashback) to identify high-performing strategies

· Create personalized campaigns to increase stickiness and prevent churn.

· Design and implement churn prevention initiatives, using behavior-based triggers to re-engage at-risk users.

· Conduct competitor analysis to adjust pricing and promotional positioning

· Align with Loyalty and segmentation teams to develop targeted offers.

· Regularly report on KPIs, offers performance and customer insights to executive leadership.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA is a plus.

· Minimum 10 years’ experience in ISP sector, preferably with exposure to the Iraqi market.

· Strong understanding of consumer behavior and ISP trends in Iraq.

· Fluent in Arabic and English.

· Experience working with local partners, regulatory bodies, and cultural stakeholders is preferred.
