Job Purpose
The Marketing Communications (MarCom) Director is responsible for developing and executing the organization’s integrated marketing, branding, communications, and customer engagement strategy. The role drives brand positioning, corporate reputation, market awareness, lead generation support, and commercial growth across all business units, products, and services.
The MarCom Director ensures alignment between marketing initiatives and commercial objectives while strengthening customer acquisition, retention, and market competitiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute the annual marketing and communications strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Establish brand positioning and value proposition across all markets and customer segments.
- Lead market awareness, customer engagement, and brand growth initiatives.
- Support business expansion, product launches, and go-to-market strategies.
- Act as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on branding, communications, and market trends.
Brand Management - Own and govern corporate brand identity, guidelines, and messaging.
- Ensure consistency of brand representation across all touchpoints.
- Drive brand awareness, preference, and reputation initiatives.
- Manage brand architecture across multiple products, services, and subsidiaries.
Marketing & Demand Generation - Lead integrated marketing campaigns across digital, traditional, and field channels.
- Develop customer acquisition and lead generation programs supporting commercial teams.
- Measure campaign effectiveness and optimize return on marketing investment (ROMI).
- Drive customer segmentation and targeted marketing initiatives.
- Support revenue growth through data-driven marketing strategies.
Corporate Communications & Public Relations
- Develop corporate communication plans and key messaging.
- Manage media relations, public announcements, press releases, and corporate events.
- Oversee crisis communication planning and execution.
- Build relationships with media partners, industry stakeholders, and strategic partners.
- Strengthen corporate reputation and thought leadership positioning.
Digital Marketing & Customer Engagement - Lead digital marketing strategy including website, social media, SEO, SEM, email marketing, and content
marketing. - Enhance customer experience through digital engagement initiatives.
- Monitor customer sentiment and brand perception across digital channels.
- Utilize analytics to improve customer acquisition and engagement performance.
Commercial Support - Partner with Commercial, Sales, Operations, and Product teams to support revenue objectives.
- Develop sales enablement materials, product communication plans, and promotional campaigns.
- Support channel partners, distributors, and indirect sales initiatives through targeted marketing
programs. - Ensure marketing activities contribute directly to business growth and customer acquisition.
Leadership & Governance - Lead, mentor, and develop the MarCom team.
- Manage agency relationships, creative partners, and external vendors.
- Establish marketing policies, standards, and governance frameworks.
- Manage departmental budget and ensure cost-effective utilization of resources.

* Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
- Master’s Degree or MBA preferred.
- Professional certifications in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Branding, or Communications are advantageous.
*Experience: - 10+ years of progressive experience in Marketing, Communications, Brand Management, or Commercial Marketing.
- Minimum 5 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in Technology, Telecommunications, ICT, Digital Services, Commercial Operations, or B2B/B2C
environments. - Proven experience managing large-scale marketing campaigns and brand transformation initiatives.
